[rancid] Mikrotik proposed patch status?

Hello all,

I'm a bit new to the list, so apologies if this has been answered. A
while back, someone submitted patches for the development version of
mikrotik devices here:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/rancid/users/3826 , but I don't
see that in the latest dev or stable versions. I've found that this
patch works well for me in the 2.3.2 version, is there any reason it
wasn't or hasn't been included yet?
