[rancid] Rancid stopped working

Hello everyone,

RANCID has stopped working for me over the weekend. There haven't been any
changes made that I am aware of, I just noticed when I got in to work this
AM that I had tons of fetch errors showing my devices haven't been
contacted for over 24 hours. I checked the logs, and they're all showing
this error:

"Can't localize lexical variable $dev at /usr/lib/rancid/bin/rancid line
1126."


Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to solve this?

I'd suggest rolling back the changes made, or investigate line 1126 within
your rancid file. Sounds like something wasn't changed properly.

None that I'm aware of, however I was told there was a change to the main
rancid file on Friday, so I wonder if that's what caused this. The change

so I'm wondering if that could have caused the issue. I'm currently running
perl 5, version 18, subversion 2 (v5.18.2)

Any updates to Perl?
