Is anyone using Rancid to grab the configs on Adtran gear? I am looking to
backup the Total Access 900 series routers. Is it as simple as
devicename:adtran:up in the router config file?

First and foremost you should do research before emailing this list. By the
email you sent, you are asking us to do the work for you. Unfortunately, I
did it for you and even gave you the answer. I answered your question and
tried to put you on the right path to find your own answer. I was sincerely
trying to help you and this is how you respond? I apologize to everyone on
the list for this type of BS getting emailed to everyone. I don't care
enough about your problem to email any further about it.
By the way, its spelled CUBICLE, not cubical. A google search would have
told you that also.
Wow, I bet you feel more powerful now. Quick, run to the next cubical
and tell everyone how you just showed some guy how smart you were! You will
be the cubical farm hero!

No biggie, it happens :)
Sorry but it pisses me off to no end to see someone ask a question and
get belittled because they didn’t do it the way you did it. The majority
of my searches on Rancid (other topics) come up empty so I thought I might
ask a simple question and get a simple answer. I apologize for my snappy
response this morning, your email followed another email that had pissed me
off and I snapped at you.

there is no adtran module in the rancid dist. I believe that someone
posted a script for adtran; I do not if it works. such as

Richey,

We have had success with the 900 series Adtran IAD's using the standard cisco module.
