Hello

I'm trying to backup cisco-routers behind another cisco router. This
should work using the usercmd patch. However I have two problems:

- The routers are in vrf instances on the router, so i have to login
like this: telnet routerip /vrf vrfinstance

- the routers have the same internal ip-addresses, so i can have a
router on 192.168.0.1 in vrf "one" and vrf "two"

Can I do this using the usercmd command? Do I have to make a public dns
entry for every router I have?

Thank you for your help and kind regards

Yes; put that in the usercmd_chat command. Something like the below
should do:
add usercmd_chat 192.168.0.1 {>} {telnet 192.168.0.1 /vrf one\r} {User
Access Verification\r} {}

Dosn't need to be a public IP, but you need to be able unambiguously
identify your devices. You could do that by virtually assigning other IP
addresses to the devices in the vrfinstance "two". E.g.: 192.168.255.1
for 192.168.0.1.

add usercmd_chat 192.168.255.1 {>} {telnet 192.168.0.1 /vrf two\r}
{User Access Verification\r} {}
